ANS complies with all applicable laws, rules and regulations including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), as amended, and its Privacy, Security and Standards for Electronic Transactions regulations.

ANS was established in 1998 to facilitate the processing of HIPAA and related transactions between health care providers and third party payers, and to promote administrative simplification for the health care industry. A principal emphasis is placed on utilizing state of the art technology to reduce costs and insure accuracy, speed and ease of use.
